Our Policy

To enter Montessori class students must turn:

       ● Pre-School (Pre-S) – 3 years old by September 1st

       ● Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K) – 4 years old by September 1st

       ● Kindergarten (KG) – 5 years  old by  September 1st

All students must be potty trained.
To enter 1st grade students must turn 6 years old by September 1st.


The school does not discriminate in enrollment on the basis of race, gender, religion, or national origin. Enrollment is open to any child, provided the school can meet the special needs of that child. Presently we do not offer English as a Second Language, GT classes or Special Education services.

Start school in August and Pay Tuition by Sept 1st

To apply for admission to Houston Peace Academy, please submit your online application and the enrollment payment. An administrator will contact you within 2 business days from receiving your application to confirm registration. At that time you will need to submit all the required documents listed below. Within a week from receiving all the documents you will be contacted to schedule an assessment interview.

-Current Student (only available during Jan-Feb): $100

-New Student Regular Open Enrollment (only available during Mar-Apr): $150

-New Student Late Open Enrollment (available during May and after): $200

Tuition may be paid by one of three options listed below. As tuition is an annual amount, tuition remains the same regardless of late enrollment, absences or holidays. Tuition can be paid via automatic withdrawal (ACH), a check (made payable to Houston Peace Academy), or electronically via kindful using a debit/credit card or a bank account number. If tuition is paid in 9 monthly installments, after the September payment is done by family automatic withdrawal will be set up by the office using the payment information provided starting in October and ending in May.

Houston Peace Academy reserves the right to withhold school records until all tuition is paid.

Security Deposit payment can be paid at the time of enrollment and is due June 1st to secure the child’s spot. It equals to 1/10th of and applies towards the total cost of education.

The cost of education may be paid by one of three options listed below:

*The tuition installment payments are not a monthly tuition and do not reflect the number of days school is in session for that month.

Discounts

Sibling Discount 

Discounts are available for Elementary and Middle school students. No sibling discount is offered to Montessori students when more than one are attending Montessori.

  • Second child $100 monthly discount 
  • Third + child $200 monthly discount 

Additional Fees:

  • After-school is available for a fee of $10 daily per child to parents who request it via email at least 2 days in advance. To request care email admin@houstonpeace.org with a subject line “After-school Care request” and the dates requested.
  • Late Payment fee of $30 will be charged if tuition payments are not received by the 3rd of the month.
  • Returned Payment fee of $30 will be charged for any returned payments. 
  • Late Pick up fee is $10.00 for every 5 minutes after regular dismissal time.
  • Uniforms will be purchased by parents.
  • Field Trip fees and Special Programs fees will vary.

Financial assistance shall be granted only after the need for such assistance has been carefully examined by the school. The maximum amount of tuition assistance that a student is eligible to receive is up to 60%. The registration fee and the annual fees are not covered by the financial assistance.

Every applicant shall be asked to furnish reasonable detailed information concerning their requirements by filling out an appropriate application form. This shall be supplemented by appropriate supporting documents, written comments and personal interviews. The information supplied by the applicant will be considered strictly confidential.

Applications for financial aid shall be determined within 4 weeks of receiving the application form and all supporting documentation.

Financial assistance is available for elementary and middle school students only. Montessori students are not eligible for financial assistance.
